Hull Collegiate School is a member of the United Church Schools Trust (UCST).
UCST is a leading education charity which currently operates a family of 11 independent schools across the UK.
UCST was founded in 1883 to extend the reach of good academic education in Victorian England. In 2002, it established the United Learning Trust (ULT) as a fully-owned subsidiary to extend UCST’s work and ethos into the state sector through the Academies Programme.
UCST offers the stability of an organisation with a long-term commitment to education in this country and the experience to run successful schools. As a member of the UCST family, Hull Collegiate School shares the objective of bringing out ‘the best in everyone’, enabling each pupil to become a balanced, happy and articulate person with the intellectual freedom to be creative; confidence to initiate; flexibility to respond to challenge, change and adversity; compassion to serve others; spirit to enjoy life; integrity to be trustworthy; and motivation to have a lifelong love of learning.
