FAQs
How do I book?
Simply complete the booking form applicable to your child’s age and return with payment to the school. If your child does not attend Hull Collegiate School you will need to complete a consent form too. The cost is £30 per day per child. You can book in week segments too which are £150 per week per child with subsequent weeks charged at £140 per child.
Specialist provider days marked on the booking forms have an additional charge of £10 per day for Fit 4 Fun and dance. Baking Week which is booked as a block for 5 days for an additional £50. You do not have to take part in a specialist activity, these have been built into this year’s programme based on customer demand from last year’s summer club programme.
Once booking forms and payment are received a confirmation of your place will be sent to you.
What Year group does my child belong to?
We place children in their current year not the one they are moving into this September. .
What do they need to bring along with them?
Suncreen, appropriate clothing to play indoor and outdoor sport, a packed lunch and refreshments. A tuck shop will be open during the afternoon if they wish to purchase items. A hot lunch is provided on Fridays for all children and included in the cost.
My children are not very sporty will they feel left out?
Not at all. Each child makes up their own itinerary each morning so they only take part in the things they really want to. If they want to only do a particular thing, that’s absolutely fine…the emphasis is on having fun in a safe environment.
My child doesn’t attend the school, can they join in?
Yes – The School of Summer Fun is open to all children aged 3 – 13 years old, not just our current pupils. We welcome children each year who make new friends and discover new skills.
