Year 9 pupil selected for England

Congratulations to 13 year old Millie Riby, who has just been selected for the Under 14 England Rounders Squad.

Millie took part in trials on Saturday 10 October in Rotherham and, as a result of her selection, she will now have extra training and will represent England at Rounders against the home nations.

An all-round young sportswoman and Sports Scholar, Millie recently took part in the school's sports tour to Barbados where she played Defender in the Hockey team and Goal Shooter in the Netball Team. Millie plays Midfield for the school and has had an excellent start to the Hockey season.

Millie has been a county Hockey player for over a year and her England selection is another success story for this promising young sportwoman.
