Singing His Praises

Robin Datta, a Year 9 pupil, is being filmed for BBC's Songs of Praise over the next few days. Robin is the youngest member of the Hull Male Voice Choir and will be taking part in two programmes which will be filmed at Beverley Minster next Monday and Tuesday.

"I'm very excited about the programme," says Robin, who has already sung in The Albert Hall with the Hull Male Voice Choir, an experience he describes as "amazing!"

Robin, a talented musician, performed at the school's recent Music Concert at City Hall and arranged a version of You say it best for The Gramophones, the school's barber-shop male choir.

Songs of Praise from Beverley Minster will be aired on 5 September 2010 and 30 January 2011.
