The Year 13 had an excellent field trip in sunny Wales last week.
We travelled down on Friday afternoon to Betws-y-Coed where we stayed in the field study centre. Saturday was spent at Harlech studying the Psammosere on one of Britain’s most actively growing sand dune systems. On Sunday we visited Cwm Idwal to study evidence of plate tectonics. Pupils were exemplary and were a pleasure to teach. Indeed, their behaviour was commented on by the field centre staff. Thanks also go to Mr Wainman for accompanying the trip, Ashley Clayton for his navigation skills and Sam Brown for keeping us all awake on the journey there and back!
