The sun shone on the KS2 runners as they tackled the muddy mile-long cross-country course around the school grounds on Tuesday morning. Every child from Year 3 to Year 6 took part, gaining vital points for their House in the hope of winning the coveted title of KS2 Cross-Country Champion 2012.
The overall winning house was Venn, but it was a close call and every point certainly counted. The individual winners ran spectacularly well with William Smales, Lily Hawkard and Emily Jones coming first in the U11 race and Harvey Newton and Amelia Newton coming first in the U9 race.
