Curriculum

In our purpose-built facilities, surrounded by beautiful grounds and play areas, we offer children the opportunity to achieve high standards with our carefully planned Preparatory School Curriculum. We take our curriculum outside whenever possible, providing experiential learning in a stimulating and caring environment where success is celebrated and effort is rewarded.

Children are taught most lessons by their class teacher. However at Hull Collegiate School, we are fortunate in being able to use the expertise of Preparatory School staff to offer subject specialist teaching in some areas of the curriculum.

French is taught from Year 1 upwards.

The following subjects are covered at KS1 and KS2 (we use the National Curriculum as a guideline, but enhance it extensively):
