Curriculum

In Year 3 to 6 there is an increasing emphasis on specialist teaching. In the early stages of Key Stage Two the majority of lessons are taught by the class teachers. However, by Year 6, specialist teaching is used for Science, ICT, Music, Drama, French, Art, Games and PE.

The National Literacy and Numeracy Framework are used as the basis for English and Mathematics teaching and the children are  examined in the National Curriculum Key Stage Standard Attainment Tests (SATs).
