Reception, Year 2 and Year 4 go to Forest School

Year 4 say:

"Bridges, rafts, dens and water-channels – we made them all at Forest School. Thomas and Finlay made a bridge which we all had a go at crossing. I made a floating boat and sailed buckets of water across to the other side of the stream. We roasted bananas and chocolate in the ashes of the fire – they were scrumptious! We helped each other to carry logs and branches to make dens. The girls made water channels by digging into the bank of the stream. Muscaan and Charlotte even made their own wooden city. We all had a great day – and the sun was shining on us and all the millions of snowdrops."

Reception say:

"In February, it was our turn to enjoy creative woodland adventures at Forest School. It was another chilly but bright day and the children had a wonderful time exploring the woods and making dens and mud pictures."
