A wide range of activities enable the children to develop their range of skills beyond the classroom.
Amongst the many activities on offer at either lunchtime or after school are Judo, Modern Languages, Discovery Club, Chess, Photography, Circus Skills, Debating, Computing
There is a wide range of sports clubs for all year groups.
Music is an important part of life in Key Stage 2. In addition to lessons within the curriculum, there is the opportunity to learn a wide variety of musical instruments from a large team of peripatetic specialist teachers. Choirs, orchestra and ensembles, concerts and productions further enrich the musical experiences on offer.
Throughout Years 3 to 6 there are educational visits to places of interest which enhance the learning experiences of the children. Additionally, there are residential trips in Years 5 and 6 to Cranedale in North Yorkshire and PGL in Shropshire. Year 6 pupils are also given the opportunity to join with Key Stage 3 on the school skiing trip to Europe.
