School Trips

School trips are an excellent way of enhancing the curriculum. The school aims to keep costs to a minimum and these trips are purely optional.

Pupils start their experience of residential school trips in Year 5, with a weekend trip to Cranedale. A long weekend at specialist activity centre, PGL, takes place in Year 6.

The Senior School trips are based around the curriculum, for example trips to Normandy and Spain, organised by the MFL department, as well as the Belgian Battlefields tour which is organised by the History department.

The Geography department have taken pupils on fieldtrips to Iceland and Utah (USA) which have proved exhilarating as well as educational.

Sports trips in 2009 included a football trip to Prague and a sports tour (football, hockey, cricket and netball) to Barbados which proved to be both thrilling and inspiring.
