A Level Results 2011

Hull Collegiate School had another excellent year in terms of A level results. The overall pass rate was 99.34% and the average points score was the highest for five years. One pupil has broken the school record by achieving five A levels at Grade A*, whilst another has achieved a superb UCAS point score of 895.The results are a consequence of a great deal of hard work by the pupils and their teachers and are a true reflection of the outstanding work that is part and parcel of Sixth Form life here at Hull Collegiate School.

  • Grades A* - C: 81.57%
  • Grades A* - B: 53%
  • Grades A* – A: 24%
 Charlotte Poirier is the school’s top achiever with five A* grades in Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Physics and History. Charlotte will now be studying European Social and Political Studies at University College, London. Anita Datta has been accepted into Cambridge University as an organ scholar to read Politics, Psychology and Sociology. Anita achieved  A* in English Literature and four A grades in Latin, French, Physics and Music. Josh Briggs achieved A* in Geography and three A grades in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Josh is now embarking on a masters degree in Chemical Engineering at Nottingham University. Emily Meltham will be reading History and Music at Royal Holloway College, University of London, after achieving three A grades in French, History and Music. Other outstanding candidates include:

 Many congratulations to all our Year 13 leavers who now embark upon a wide range of degree courses, such as English Language and Linguistics; Product Design and Manufacture; Oceanography, Politics, Economics and Geography; Law, Management and Business, Psychology, Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy and Theatre Studies.
