Location and Facilities

Hull Collegiate School is fortunate in having some 6 acres of spectacular grounds, in what was once the historic mansion Tranby Croft, the home of shipowner Arthur Wilson and famous Baccarat scandal.

The beautiful historic building, enjoyed by generations of schoolchildren, was extended in 2005 with a multi-million-pound investment.  We are easily accessible by road (close to the A63 and Humber Bridge) and rail (Brough and Hull railway stations are a 15-minute drive).  The school serves a wide catchment area, with pupils travelling from Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

The Nursery, Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form are housed on the single site making it accessible for families with more than one child in different stages of their education.

All pupils have access to the wealth of facilities available. In recent years, the school has seen significant refurbishment works to include a new Senior School Library, new grass pitches (to Sports England standard), a new Sports Pavilion, refurbished EYFS classrooms and Prep outdoor play areas.

These works show the emphasis we place on providing high-quality, international-standard facilities for our pupils and forms part of our long-term strategy for continually improving facilities and learning at the school.
